TADAccounting Client Portals

What is a portal? A portal is a secure extension that enables private, remote access over the Internet. If you have ever accessed your banking information by typing in your username and password, you have accessed a portal. Using a portal, our clients can access their financial information and exchange data and information with their bookkeepers, instantly.

To access your portal, simply visit the TADAccounting website, click on the client sign-in link and enter your user-name and password. TADAccounting’s website acts as the home base through which all staff and clients enter their own private home pages.

Your private home page will have service announcements, file upload notifications, and messages from your bookkeeping staff. You will be able to view and edit your personal account information and view your bookkeeper, account manager and CPA Manager’s contact information on your “My Team” page.

The TADAccounting Support Center is also just a click away within your client portal, here you can access the troubleshooting FAQ, or create a helpdesk ticket to get your questions answered.

 

Electronic File Management

Managing files is easy using the TADAccounting client portal. You will conduct uploading documents through the Uploads Manager, and you will have an Accounting Files Manager where you can view, print, or download your files, reports and other financial information.

Our electronic file management system enables you to upload or download all of your accounting information and data. No need to fax or file paper copies, you can quickly download your file from your portal, and store it on your local PC, or keep it in your file cabinet on your real-time data server. This also works as a file exchange hub. The Accounting Files Manager on your client home page acts as a holding area for exchanging information, data and other relevant communications.

 

Example:

 Your CPA Manager prepares your monthly account receivable aging report. She then prints the report to PDF and uploads a copy to your Accounting Files Manager under Accounts Receivable. You will receive an automatic notification via email that your CPA Manager has uploaded a document. Next, you can log in to your client home page, click on the accounting files tab, and quickly view, print, or save your report to your local machine.

Now any information that used to be transferred by diskette or email can now be transported securely through your portal. This system enables quick transfer of data, shortens project completion time, allows for immediate client approval or signatures, and continues to enhance the working relationship.
